I am a Vancouver-based adult educator, coach and therapist with 20+ years of combined education, research and professional practice in workplace health, safety and wellness, as well as treating people with chronic illness.

Originally from Montréal, I studied physical therapy at McGill University, graduating with distinction as a University Scholar. In 2008 I completed the trauma training program at the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute in Boulder, Colorado. In 2017 I completed a graduate certificate in adult education and learning from the University of British Columbia.

“Shayna teaches new information that is easy to take away and work with.”
– Health care director

Working with teams and individuals, I direct the power of our innate instincts toward healing stress, building strength, and achieving goals. Since the early nineties, I have provided team trainings for public sector organizations, health and social services providers, as well as colleges and universities. My work helps everyone from frontline staff to senior leadership.

I am fluent in English, French and Spanish, sing in community choir, and thrive on creative expression and urban gardening. I love guiding people on the road to wellbeing, and teaching that the body points the way to getting there quickly.
